Minutes, including minutes of various committees, of Teachers College predecessor organizations the Kitchen Garden Association, 1880-ca. 1886; Industrial Education Association, ca. 1887-ca. 1891; New York College for the Training of Teachers, ca. 1887-ca. 1892. Minutes of various committees (notably the Building Committee, 1892-1897) of Teachers College itself, ca. 1892-ca. 1897, are included. Of note are minutes of the founding meeting of the Kitchen Garden Association, 1880; a record book from the Children's Industrial Exhibition held at Cosmopolitan Hall, New York, 1886, containing lists of prizewinners, lists of jury members and other staff, and accounts; and a record book, 1888-1889 containing statistics, and copies of reports, correspondence, and other records containing data relating to the Board of Education.
